Heriz Rugs ( HERIS, HERIS COUNTY, EAST AZERBAIJAN PROVINCE, IRAN)

There are three key ingredients that make a rug from Heriz (Heris) extraordinary and irreplicable.

 

  1. Dye sources from wild native Plants.

 

  1. Iron and Copper rich spring water from the Sabalan Mountains.

 

  1. Wool derived from Mountain-grazed Sheep that feed on Wild Native Vegetation.
Heris is a city and capital of Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran.
